25,116 displaced families — nearly 169,074 individuals — urgently need shelter, food, clean water, and life-saving assistance.
Thousands of Families Need Urgent Support
A total of 25,116 displaced families, comprising approximately 169,074 individuals, have been recorded across Taiz, Lahj, Al Hudaydah, Aden, Abyan, Hadhramaut, Al Mahrah, Shabwah, Marib and Al Dhala’e. Taiz has the highest number of recorded displaced families, followed by Lahj and Aden.
Conflict, military escalation, shelling, and deteriorating security conditions have forced families to leave their homes, livelihoods, possessions, and sources of income behind.
Many families have been left with almost nothing. Urgent needs include emergency shelter, food, safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, healthcare, protection, cash assistance, and essential household items. The report calls for an immediate, coordinated humanitarian response — prioritizing newly displaced and vulnerable families who have not yet received assistance.
